The Linenmill shop first opened its doors in 2001 as the retail face of Northern Feather Ltd - a well established manufacturer and distributor of natural and filled bedding products and bedlinen.
The store occupies part of what used to be a weaving factory originally built in the 1960’s (hence the name, Linenmill). Through thoughtful architecture and much care the building managed to maintain large open spaces adding lots of natural light from the window lined exterior making it a unique and beautiful showroom.

The Linenmill has always maintained a reputation for providing a wide range of quality bedding products. Most of these products, including the goose down and luxury Siberian goose down duvets and pillows, are manufactured here on site by Northern Feather Ltd. This ensures that customers are guaranteed not only excellent quality but also unbeatable prices. Summer and winter weight duvets are stocked all year round and all duvets are available up to superking size giving customers the flexibility and choice they require. The Linenmill is a stockist of the magnificent Kauffmann brand of duvets and pillows, a favoured choice of Austrian royalty. With up to 50% off they are now more affordable than ever before.

 A wide range of quality bedlinen from well known brands including Helena Springfield, Bedeck and Edwina Rownay is stocked with most available up to superking size.

With such a large showroom and so many products to display it became apparent the Linenmill would be a wonderful furniture showroom and so a comprehensive range of furniture was added to the growing collections.
Solid wood bedroom, dining and occasional ranges are sourced at shows in Paris and Birmingham throughout the year.
A full range of interior and home ware products are carried too with Delph and glassware from LSA and Leonardo, as well as a selection of tablelinen, lamps, mirrors, vases, baskets and other accessories which are sourced at international interiors shows.
